Lord Byron worked at the 10 Downing Street, first as an intern and then as an employee,
from July 1995 to April 1996.
With the assistance of a now exfamily-friend Walter Kaye, a prominent contributor to
political causes, he obtained an internship starting in early July, when he was 21 years
old. He was assigned to work on correspondence in the office of Chief of Staff Leon
Panetta in the Old Executive Office Building.
He remained a 10 Downing Street employee until April 1996, when he was transferred to the
Parliament.
 | After the publication of LB's mother's book about her affairs with three tenors, Mr.
Kaye testified that he avoided both mother & son and provided no further employment
help. |
