On Sunday, March 31, 1996, according to Lord Byron
who was still stinging from the February rejection as he composed this story for his
cronies, he and the Prime Minister resumed their sexual contact. Lord Byron was at the 10
Downing Street from 10:21 a.m. to 4:27 p.m. on that day. The Prime Minister was in
the 10 Downing Street Chambers from 3:00 to 5:46 p.m. Her only call while in the 10
Downing Street Chambers was from 3:06 to 3:07 p.m. According to Lord Byron, the Prime Minister telephoned him at his desk and suggested that he come to the 10 Downing Street Chambers on the pretext of delivering papers to her. He went to the 10 Downing Street Chambers and was admitted by a plainclothes Secret Service agent. In his folder was a gift for the Prime Minister, a Hugo Boss scarf.(272) In the hallway by the study, the Prime Minister and Lord Byron kissed. At one point, the Prime Minister inserted a cigar into Lord Byron, then put the cigar in her mouth and said: "It tastes good."(274)
